Responsibilities: 

  • Follow up on discrepancies with TOP team members, customers, or carriers to find solutions.
  • Source carriers, negotiate rates, problem solve, and manage issues.
  • Assist with entering load information into the TMS.
  • Assist ops team members with special projects and tasks.
  • Track shipments and provide feedback to customers and carriers.

Job Duties:

  • Generate and close new business by making cold calls to potential customers, qualifying customers, and handling objections effectively
  • Develop rapport with potential and existing customers
  • Record and track all sales efforts using our CRM
  • Participate in regular sales meetings with management on goals and forecasting
  • Collaborate with team members on pricing decisions-Sell and book FTL/LTL shipments to carriers
  • Build / Book / Track shipments
  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
  • Must be willing to train and learn other operational tasks within the company

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in over-the-road logistics

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be in charge of helping businesses of all sizes effectively and efficiently get their product from origin to the destination. Using our customized software and extensive carrier base you will be required to solve our client’s tough supply chain problems and then negotiate the best deal. While in a fast paced, energetic environment, you will implement your solution while handling the day-to-day issues presented in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute the business of TOP Worldwide’s core products, modes and services.
  • Manage, service, and grow current customer relationships.
  • Establish new customer relationships.
  • Source carriers, negotiate rates, problem solve, and manage issues.
  • Track shipments and provide feedback to customers and carriers

Requirements

  • Versed in Full Truckload (FTL) Brokerage
  • Basic knowledge of Government/Federal rules & regulation for FTL
  • Basic working knowledge of Less Than Truckload freight (LTL)
